Božava Night is the oldest event held in Božava. The first Božava Nights were organized in the 80s as a celebration of the town of Božava. Although the patron saint of Božava St. Nikola, the celebration takes place every summer on the weekend closest to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The Božava Night is held at the Kudeliste in Božava. Placing the Božava flag marks the beginning of the Božava night. The activities that precede Christmas Eve are a bocce tournament and games for children. In the afternoon, KUD Sv. Nikola Božava dances traditional dances and sings autochthonous songs of Božava. In the evening, there is a gastronomic program with seafood dishes, and the band is responsible for the entertainment part of the program.
